Background Achievements

    • Romin is from the Vypin region of the Ernakulam district of Kerala.
    • His father Johnson is a carpenter, while his mother Germina does sweeping in a few houses.
    • Romin also has an elder brother, who is in 12th standard.

    If not for football, Romin has an ambition of being a police officer and serve the people. Romin is a big fan of Brazilian sensation Neymar and supports Barcelona and Brazil.

    • Part of the SEPT team who are currently State Champions in the Subroto Cup and will compete in the National Championships in September.
    • A brilliant central midfielder with great passing vision and accuracy.
    • Romin was the one and only player from the Vypin SEPT center to get selected into the residential programme, which is quite far away from his hometown.
    • Romin's biggest achievement came when he won the Best Player Award at the local SEPT Zonal Fest.
    • His performances were also vital in his Vypin team reaching the semi-finals of the renowned SEPT fest.
